The walnut stave has a classic walnut sound, also warm but darker in tone with lower undertones and a shorter sustain. What separates them from ply snares is the stave shell is very dense with a thick re-ring resulting in enhancing all the characteristics of the drum. They’re louder, sharper, beefier and more robust and heavier.
Each snare is finished with a clear satin lacquer and feature:
